The idea of creating the project was the reaction to the information about changes in Polish and Finnish educational system. The new core curriculum of computer science in Poland since September 2017 has been extended by compulsory teaching of programming from the first class of the primary schools. In Finland such obligation was introduced in 2016. Programming skill is currently defined as one of the most useful competence on the labour market. Developing ICT field constantly creates new workplaces for ICT specialists, especially programmers. There is a shortage of programmers on the European labour market in recent times.
